The sun is finally out after some ugly storms, but we were all good here, no flooding near our us. I was driving home from my grandma’s house the other night in the rain, and I was legitimately scared, but it kind of made me laugh thinking about what a weak Southern California girl I am. It’s also probably because I just saw a video of some 6-car pile up on a California freeway, and I was having visions of that being me. But don’t worry, I made it home safe, even though I will say part of the 10 freeway looked like a pond.
I went to yoga yesterday morning and feel like a new woman, and I was just watching Vanderpump Rules while editing some photos, but I have to say, the new episodes have been boring so far. I just started reading The Rachel Incident based on a few recommendations from my community, and I am already flying through it.
In newsletter news (is that redundant?), my 30-minute budget meal series has been so popular, I’m now going to up the frequency and release a new recipe every single week! I honestly have no idea when this series is going to end, but as long as you’re liking it, I’m going to keep on doing it! If you have any recipe requests, feel free to send them my way!
RECIPE!
This week, we’ve got the ultimate tuna melt! Just look at it! If this doesn’t convince you to like tuna, I’m not sure what will. This one is FAST to make — under 30 minutes, for sure — and the flavors are incredible despite only using a few ingredients. I can’t wait for you to try this one.
I used sourdough bread here, but feel free to use whatever bread that works for you and your budget!
