This sandwich is for all my people who want a tuna melt but don’t want the tuna. The filling is made instead with chopped turkey breast, in the style of those chopped sandwiches that were trending last year. Because I love all things briney and all things spicy, I mixed in some pickles and pepperoncini and used pepper jack cheese for the “melt” part.
You can always sub turkey for ham or even just bring back tuna here if that’s more of your thing as well!
